Hello and welcome to etcetera online, the web based version of the free monthly paper publication. For those new to us, etcetera is an English language publication aimed primarily, but certainly not exclusively, at the ex-pat community in the Haute-Vienne, Charente, Vienne and surrounding areas. It carries local news & events, various pieces of useful information for living and working in France, a whole range of artisans and other services plus stories and articles from a variety of contributors. 8000 copies are printed and distributed each month.

On this site you will find links to an advertisers directory where you should find a service to cover nearly all of your requirements. However, at this stage, some parts of the directory still require populating by advertisers so if you are looking for an artisan or particular business and cannot find them in the directory, please use the 'back issues' link where you will find the current and recent back issues of etcetera which are available to view in 'flipping book' format or PDF.

Please feel free to contact us if you have anything to say, any useful tips to share or even just a joke worthy of publication in the magazine. Under the 'article submission' link you will be able to send us your letters or tell us about your life in France and maybe how you came to discover it.
